This time of year in New England we never know what kind of weather we are going to get; sometimes we get unseasonably cold and wet weather and other times we get unseasonably mild weather. This past weekend Cape Cod had perfect weather and incredible people visiting the Cape! I want to thank each and every one of you who made this event, on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Yellow Umbrella Books in Chatham, MA,  a bodacious success! Eric is having us back at Yellow Umbrella Books on May 29, 2011, the anniversary of the release of SUMMER AND AUGUST!

We stayed at the SEADAR INN, in Harwich Port, MA, located at the Bank Street Beach on beautiful Nantucket Sound. It’s a beautiful facility, in a great central location, but what makes this place special are the people who run it! Our sincere thanks to Rosemary, Tom, Michael and Karyn, for your kindness and friendly manner truly makes staying at the SEADAR INN memorable! We made so many new friends while enjoying our breakfast, it was certainly the most pleasant atmosphere we can remember! Our memories will be savored.

Here are some pictures of this visit…

Here is the Seadar Inn. Our room was the one sticking out at the right.

Here is a picture of a lucky fisherman we watched take about 15 minutes to bring this fish ashore, in Sandwich, along the Cape Cod Canal.

This was a 42 inch Bass!

The last rose of summer.

Beautiful rose hips!

Seven more fishermen.

Getting some sun.

Robert Pomoroy rescue school (just kidding).

Coming in for a landing.

The perfect end of a perfect day!

I can’t wait until next Memorial Day weekend to go back!
