I’m back and preparing for a new season of events which will include many of our favorite venues. Cape Cod and Yellow Umbrella Books is on the list as well as some new stops near and far from home!

As a part of Freedom, NH Old Home Week, I was at the Freedom Elementary School selling books with $1.00 from the sale of each book being donated to the Barney T. Jones Scholarship fund. The response was incredible! We really appreciate all of your support!
We always enjoy visiting The Toadstool Bookshops; tomorrow, Saturday, August 7, 2010 we will be at the Toadstool in Keene, NH. We greatly look forward to seeing many old friends and meeting many new friends during this event. I hope you’re one of them!

Two weeks from this coming Sunday; May 30, 2010 will be the first public event for Summer And August at Yellow Umbrella Books, Chatham MA.
On June 12, 2010 we will be helping raise funds for the non-profit organizations in Freedom, NH, at the Mile Long Charity Fund Raiser in Freedom Village. In case a bad weather day is predicted the event will be held on June 19.
On June 26, 2010 we have an event at Booklover’s Gourmet, Webster, MA.
On July 11, 2010 we will return to Yellow Umbrella Books, Chatham MA, for an encore event.
On August 6, 2010 we return to Freedom, NH for an encore event.
On August 15, 2010 we return to Yellow Umbrella Books, Chatham MA, for our 3rd Cape Cod event.
On Friday evening September 17th and all day Saturday and Sunday, September 18th & 19th we will be at the Cracker Barrel Fair, Wrentham, MA; in support of the Wrentham Developmental Center. This will be our second year donating 20% of all sales to The Friends of Wrentham. The Friends are a non-profit non-governmental organization that works with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to enhance the lives of the people who reside at the Wrentham Developmental Center.
As each of these events come closer I will post a reminder, in the hope that we can cross paths at least once during this year!
There will be more events added, but this blog will post the events before my website, or facebook.

This event, sponsored by the Manchester Policemen’s Wives Scholarship Board, raised funds from rentals, raffles and food sales that will be utilized for post High School education scholarships for the sons and daughters of Manchester, NH Police Officers.
Everyone who participated in this event, the volunteers, artists & craftsmen, and all of the friends, families and community members who came out to shop, deserves a warm and sincere thanks for a wonderful showing! Many thanks to Susan and Steve, David, Don, Diane, Jeanne, Nicole, Fran, Nancy, Deborah, Sandra (who brought many friends to our table), and the many others who purchased LaRosa Chronicles books for themselves and as gifts!
Our special thanks to Cynthia for her coordination of this bodacious event.
This certainly was a fabulous way to end our best year ever. We saw some old friends, made many new friends, and truly enjoyed the day.
We plan to utilize our time enjoying friends and family during the holiday season. And continuing to prepare Summer And August for release in May 2010.

This Saturday, 12/12/09, we are participating at a Holiday Craft Fair, located at Our Lady of the Cedars Church, on the corner of Calef Road and Mitchell Street in Manchester, NH from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
This event is sponsored by the Manchester Policemen’s Wives Scholarship Board. 100% of all funds raised from rentals, raffles and food sales will be utilized for post High School education scholarships for the sons and daughters of Manchester, NH Police Officers.
This is a great way for us to end our best year ever and we hope to have a great turn-out for this venue.
