And to read about some Great New Authors we have had the pleasure to publish!

Hi,
I know I’ve been quiet for a while, but much has been going on.

I have been working with some authors through A Snowy Day Distribution & Publishing, so be sure to visit ASnowyDay.com to see some other books Sal & I have been publishing!

However, some of my “works in progress” are still progressing well, so keep checking in for notice of new books on the horizon. 🙂

The first event for Summer And August, A Cape Cod Murder Mystery was on May 30, 2010, at Yellow Umbrella Books in Chatham, MA, the setting for the story. We returned for Encore Events at Yellow Umbrella Books on July 11th, August 15th, and October 10th.

There were two events in June, one at Booklovers’ Gourmet in Webster, Ma and the other was a charity event in Freedom, NH.

In July we had four events. Our second visit to Yellow Umbrella Books; Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Nashua, NH; The Toadstool Bookshops in Milford, NH; and The Toadstool Bookshops in Peterborough, NH.

We had three events in August. Our second visit to Freedom, NH; The Toadstool Bookshops in Keene, NH; and our third visit to Yellow Umbrella Books.

In September we had five events. We were asked to participate at the 10th annual Dracut Old Home Day in Dracut, MA; we did three consecutive days at our favorite fund raiser, for the Wrentham Developmental Center; and Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Salem, NH.

Five events in October. Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Manchester, NH; our fourth visit to Yellow Umbrella Books; our second visit to Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Salem, NH; our second visit to The Toadstool Bookshops in Keene, NH; and the Bedford Foursquare Church
5th Annual Harvest Festival.

Twenty events in five months. What a rush!
Tomorrow I’ll tell you how we get to a total of twenty-eight events through December18th.

As expected, we had a great event at the Toadstool Bookshops in Peterborough, NH this past Saturday, July 31, 2010! Our thanks to all who supported this event and made it so successful! A special thanks to Ann from Fitzwilliam, Karen from Attleboro, Myra from Peterborough, Faye and Frances, who are all new LaRosa Chronicles readers! I wish I could remember everyone’s names, but you all know who you are; and you’re all very special to me!!!

Sincere thanks to Willard, owner of The Toadstool Bookshops and operator of the Peterborough store! You’re a sweetheart!

Next  Saturday we will be at the Toadstool in Keene, NH. We’ll be seeing many old friends, especially Franklin Pierce Alumni, and meeting many new friends during this Keene event. I hope you’re one of them!

We participated in an event for the employees of BAE Systems in Nashua, NH on July 28th. We didn’t publicize it much, since it was for employees only. This is where Sal retired from, three months ago.

What an incredible turn-out we experienced! This event ran from 11:30am to 1:00pm, and we were slammed with people every minute of the entire time! Again, I wish I could thank everyone who came to this event by name! Sincere thanks to Marge and BAE Systems management, who made this so successful!

Rumor has it that there will be similar events at other BAE Systems facilities!

This coming Saturday, July 31, 2010 we will be at The Toadstool Bookshops in Peterborough, NH at 2:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

In addition to the fantastic event in Stratham this past weekend we also attended three Birthday Parties. We celebrated with Christina, Sal Jr’s significant other; Christopher, Sal Jr’s oldest son (sixteen); and with Dominic, Cynthia’s youngest (his sister was on the 11/09/09 Blog with her sweet-sixteen).

Christina and Christopher are shown below in a cell phone photo. I’ll have to put Dominic on tomorrow, after Sal uploads a picture from his camera.

We have Thanksgiving weekend off, thankfully (no pun intended), after having events and birthdays for the last three weekends. Then two more weekend events before we break until after the New Year. These last two events will make eight in the last ten weeks!

I’ll talk about the next two events, in Milford, NH and Manchester, NH after Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, continue to email if you want to purchase books directly.
